In 2010, the regions Brazil, Trifinio, Tanzania and Vietnam have been selected as pilots to assess current and likely future impacts of climate change on coffee yields and key coffee qualities. They represent Arabica (Tanzania and Trifinio) and Robusta (Brazil and Vietnam) production, intensive and diverse production systems as well as wet and dry processing.

The initiative is gaining ground and will be scaled beyond the four c&c key regions. More than 80.000 coffee farmers could benefit from c&c activities until 2019.
