c&c Report Discloses the Financial Benefits of Climate Change Adaptation in Brazil

Hamburg, December 18, 2012  –  A report by Dr. Alois Grosse-Rüschkamp provides 20 year cash-flow calculations comparing laissez faire coffee production with the adoption of a number of climate change adaptation measures in Minas Gerais. Findings take into account available climate change forecasts and describe costs and benefits according to yields, financial balances, smallholder family income, and remuneration in terms family labor for both new and existing smallholder coffee plantations.
